1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels. Together we call these "cookies" in this policy. Cookies can be "session" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" (remaining until they expire or you delete them), and "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by a provider we use).
2. How we use cookies
Today we use cookies only to run the Service — to keep you signed in, secure your session, and remember basic preferences. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.
3. Categories of cookies
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in, secure your session, balance load, and remember essential settings. The Service can't work without these. | Session to ~12 months | No |
| Functional | Remember basic non-essential choices, such as recently used settings. These contain no tracking. | Up to ~12 months | Yes (via your browser) |
4. Third-party cookies
Our payment processor may set cookies that are strictly necessary to complete a secure checkout, governed by its own privacy policy. When you connect or use an advertising platform (such as Meta or Google Ads) inside the app, that platform may also set its own cookies under its own terms, which we do not control.
5. How to manage cookies
Because we currently set only strictly-necessary and functional cookies, no consent banner is required. If we ever introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first and provide a way to manage it. In the meantime, most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies in their settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the Service, including signing in.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because we do not track you across sites or run advertising cookies, these signals do not change what we do; if we add such cookies in future, we will honour applicable opt-out signals where required.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. The "last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
